Yes, the Democrats voted Saturday as well, and Bernie Sanders started off the night with a pair of wins in Kansas and Nebraska, while Hillary Clinton took Louisiana by more than 70 percent.

So, Bernie Sanders was the target of #BlackLivesMatter protesters early in the campaign, who literally took over his own microphone to declare him “utterly and totally useless” and started the sarcastic #BernieSoBlack hashtag to troll the civil rights movement veteran.
Sanders, like President Obama, has spoken extensively on criminal justice reform, affordable (or free) college, and a hike in the minimum wage, and yet Clinton is said to have a massive advantage among African American voters. Is the fake accent that effective?

@AaronBlake Not the best niche for a Democrat in 2016.

@AaronBlake @nicolemerchut sad but he is going out with a message that resonates with people akin to his state which is 94.7% white!

@iamthedane @WhoOCares you do realize HRC has been slandering him as a sexist and racist for months right? Keeping it "clean"
— Andrew Ortenberg (@AndrewOball) March 6, 2016
Again, Sanders need to prove he can win in states > 1/4 nonwhite, and Clinton needs big margin in states not in Deep South
— Charles M. Blow (@CharlesMBlow) March 6, 2016
Again, the simple rule: Sanders needs to win non-black voters by 1/3 of what he loses blacks. He didn't do that here–virtually never does

So this is life in post-racial America. Aren’t Democrats (the ones who put up the all-white slate of candidates) the colorblind ones?
