It took practically no time at all for Fox News to declare Donald Trump the winner of the South Carolina primary, calling the race just after 5 p.m. Six hours later, NBC is projecting that Marco Rubio will take second place and Ted Cruz third. How close is the vote that a network is just now declaring a winner?

It appears as though Donald Trump will gobble up all of the state’s 50 delegates.
Politics sometimes makes little sense, but Rubio is a winner tonight even if he won no delegates ($)https://t.co/lZRW5408ik

Wow. NBC News allocates all 50 South Carolina delegates to Donald Trump.

Rubio campaign all about potential. Finishes second, ended SC w momentum, and Jeb's out of race. But 0 delegates. Where's his first win?

Alpha move by Marco right now would be calling Cruz, promising him SCOTUS nomination to replace Scalia, and waiting.
