Bush is speaking as if he is going to drop out.

As Jeb Bush began his concession speech in South Carolina Saturday night, his tone made it clear to most that he was suspending his campaign before he got around to announcing it. With more than half of precincts reporting, Bush was barely able to clear 8 percent of the vote. For what it’s worth, he was in a dead heat against Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

So when Jeb Bush told me he was in for 'the long haul' two weeks ago he meant two weeks

CNN wasn’t wrong. Jeb Bush dropping out was a long-time wish of many Republicans, who had nothing but praise for the manner in which Bush bowed out.
Jeb is an honorable man who has run an honorable campaign and now doing the honorable thing

Jeb was expected to be clear front runner when he got in. The first of many notions turned on their heads in this race.

It is a hard, challenging thing to run for POTUS. I don't agree w/@JebBush on things , but he is a decent and honorable man. #SCPrimary

A classy move by @JebBush in a race that desperately needs more of them. #SCPrimary

Most candidates don't drop out until they run out of $$. Bush not broke. Seems to have gotten out to help party stop Trump. Gracious speech.

I have opposed Bushes politically for most of my adult life. But @JebBush exited with class & grace – like his mom & dad.

After promising he would win SC and not even coming in the top 5, Ben Carson says he's not getting out. Unbelievable.

I'm not sure Ben Carson is going to drop out even after someone else is nominated / elected / inaugurated
