Jeb Bush suspends campaign, drops exclamation point; Ben Carson 'not going anywhere'

As Jeb Bush began his concession speech in South Carolina Saturday night, his tone made it clear to most that he was suspending his campaign before he got around to announcing it. With more than half of precincts reporting, Bush was barely able to clear 8 percent of the vote. For what it’s worth, he was in a dead heat against Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

CNN wasn’t wrong. Jeb Bush dropping out was a long-time wish of many Republicans, who had nothing but praise for the manner in which Bush bowed out.
