Even with the campaign assistance of his brother George, Jeb! Bush is having trouble climbing in the polls in South Carolina. Today he spoke at the Summerville Country Club and took questions from the audience after wrapping up his stump speech with a prayer request.
Jeb closes in Summerville, SC with: "If you're against me, pray for my family. How about that for a deal?"

Seema Mehta of the Los Angeles Times reports that residents at this particular question-and-answer session turned it into an advice session for Bush and his campaign, and to be honest, the candidate seemed like he needed a lift.
Worst part about this how the crowd shows no reaction as Bush looks for their applause https://t.co/V8jYlz6Uft

It looks like word got to the former Florida governor that South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley had made up her mind to endorse Marco Rubio.
In Summerville, just after news of Gov. Haley's Rubio endorsement, Jeb says "I've gotta go get the endorsement of a newspaper."

@LATSeema @benshapiro Sad. A tentative, stammering and not inspirational man for a nation needing inspiration. Please just hang it up, Jeb.

@LATSeema @benshapiro The first step in resolving the problem, is admitting you have one.

Here’s a good question that probably represents what a lot of people have been thinking since George W. Bush joined the campaign.
Final questioner tells Jeb that he loved W and "Can you be a sum bitch?" Jeb says he can be tough but won't be an SOB.
