Sketchy: Woman stopped at border crossing was drawing security system

It looks like it will be up to the next Republican president to take U.S. border security seriously. Judicial Watch reports that a team led by a Middle Eastern woman was recently caught surveilling a U.S. facility on the Mexican border.

Judicial Watch notes that 23-year-old Leila Abdelrazaq was caught earlier this month surveilling a U.S. port of entry on the Mexican border. Asked why she was carrying a sketchbook, Abdelrazaq explained that she was sketching the border because she’s never been there before.

She eventually handed over the sketchbook, which was filled with English and Arabic writing and drawings of the facility and its security system, including the gate and video surveillance cameras.

Abdelrazaq was accompanied by a 31-year-old man named Gabriel Schivone and a 28-year-old woman named Leslie Mcafee “observing the facilities” at the Port of Mariposa in Nogales, Arizona.
