Vice President Joe Biden caught a lot of pundits by surprise Wednesday when he announced that he would not be joining the 2016 race for the White House. But it was Biden’s motorcade that managed to catch The Washington Examiner’s Byron York by surprise, leaving him free to take inventory of the vice president’s traffic footprint.
Waiting at stoplight while Biden motorcade passed. 17 vehicles, including motorcycles. Excessive?

That really does destroy our image of Biden blazing around D.C. in a convertible.
We suppose there’s no use pointing out that this is the man who on Monday called climate change “deadly serious” and “the most consequential issue of our time.” So, excessive or not?
@ByronYork yes

@ByronYork I respect this and every POTUS and want them safe too but even their motorcades are now farcically large.

@ByronYork Kind of light-weight for this administration. Still, that´s one sizable carbon middle-finger.

@ByronYork @TheRealBepo He won't need all the security to protect him from Hillary anymore.

@ByronYork Uknow what's excessive? Jill Biden not only has a staff, she has a Chief of Staff. Sickening how entitled they are. #tcot
