Handful of protesters on scene as dentist Walter Palmer, killer of #CecilTheLion, returns to work

Walter Palmer, the Minnesota dentist who managed to enrage the world by killing the internationally beloved #CecilTheLion on a $55,000 trophy hunt, wisely laid low for quite a while after becoming the most hated man alive. Protesters surrounded his closed dental practice and his home, while vandals spray-painted “Lion Killer!” on his vacation home.

Most terrifying of all, gun-weenie Piers Morgan wrote a column fantasizing about hunting Palmer with a bow and arrow so he could stuff and, um, mount him.

Palmer finally returned to work today, and protesters were there to meet him, along with reporters assigned to cover the expected mob.
