Six GOP candidates met with former CNN journalist turned education activist Campbell Brown at today’s Republican Education Summit in New Hampshire. Neither Jeb Bush nor John Kasich provided many surprises, but one-time Common Core supporter Gov. Bobby Jindal proved that his flip-flop to Common Core opponent has stuck.
At #EdSummit15, Campbell Brown points out that Jindal was for the #CommonCore before he was against it. We remember: pic.twitter.com/7LQFz2tjbF

Just a year ago, Jindal filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Education in an attempt to prevent Common Core standards from being applied to his state after coming out against Common Core at the 2014 Republican Leadership Conference.
Jindal: "We liked the concept of what we were told the Common Core was going to be," voluntary, high standards #EDsummit15

.@campbell_brown pushing @BobbyJindal on Common Core… you supported these standards, continued to take Race to the Top $$ #EDsummit15

Why the change of heart over Common Core?
Jindal says he opposes #commoncore because he "philosophically" opposes the federal government's involvement in ed. okey. #edsummit15

Jindal: What if the Obama administration proposed American history standards? What kind of history would we have? #EDsummit15

Jindal on a possible ED sec: "I want someone who's committed to limited government but also has a sense of urgency." #EDsummit15

Jindal tells the same story again about his son and Common Core math #EDsummit15

.@campbell_brown pushes back, says son's difficult math homework fascinated her, learning in a different way. Dueling applause from crowd.

Fascinated her? Is that the same Common Core math that has inspired plenty of tears from students and parents alike? The one whose “partner, anchor, decompose” basis Greg Gutfeld called “the plot of ‘Silence of the Lambs,'” not math?
Campbell Brown continues to push back on Jindal and #CommonCore and showing her advocacy side #EDsummit15
