Remember the time John Kerry sent “Rocky IV” trending when he took the opportunity to ridicule presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s political concerns about Russia? “Folks, Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from Alaska,” he joked, adding, “Mitt Romney talks like he’s only seen Russia by watching ‘Rocky IV.'”
One invasion of Ukraine later, Romney, who also warned during a debate that China was “hacking into our computers, stealing information … from government computers,” was looking pretty prescient.
As Twitchy reported, NBC News and other media outlets are reporting today that Russia has hacked into Pentagon computers, forcing the Pentagon’s Joint Staff unclassified email system to be shut down and taken off line for nearly two weeks.
Hacking of Jt Chiefs of Staff email network on July 27 marked "most sophisticated" cyberbreach in US military history http://t.co/hBTbdUBuMV

OPM Director Katherine Archuleta’s resignation was a start toward securing America’s computer systems, but what’s next?
China hacked OPM. Now Russia has hacked the Pentagon. Serious national security threats the President is ignoring. http://t.co/uMdclVDqDq

Good time to remind people that liberals & the media mocked Romney for talking about the threat from Russia & hacking. cc: @JimmyPrinceton
