Witnesses say they heard “a lot” of shots, and reporters are saying the shooter had a hatchet with him as well, which he used to get into the back door of the theater.

As of now, the biggest concern of authorities seems to be what might be in the shooter’s backpacks. Injuries seem limited to three people hit by a pepper spray explosion and a “superficial wound,” possibly from the hatchet.
