Transgender illegal aliens can now enjoy free museum memberships thanks to #IDNYC program

One reason we all can’t just get along is voter ID. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker won a huge victory in March when the Supreme Court let Wisconsin’s voter ID law stand despite a challenge from the ACLU, and his mention of that victory at his campaign kickoff elicited a huge round of applause from supporters.

As for Hillary Clinton, she decided to let this tweet make clear her feelings on voter ID, preferring instead a universal, automatic voter registration that citizens would have to opt out of.

Note, of course, that obtaining a photo ID is especially difficult for young people (most of whom have student IDs), the poor (even though several states have announced that IDs will be free), and people of color — we’ll let Hillary explain that one for herself. None of that matters: It’s all an attempt at voter suppression.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio held a celebration today for his #IDNYC program. It’s not a voter ID (yet), but it does seem to disprove the tired idea that photo IDs are impossible to obtain — more than 400,000 have been distributed already by appointment only.

The program website notes that the free card “benefits every city resident, including the most vulnerable communities—the homeless, youth, the elderly, undocumented immigrants, the formerly incarcerated and others who may have difficulty obtaining other government-issued ID.” Next time he has a moment, we’d like to chat with the mayor about illegal aliens being issued photo IDs.

Yes, but the real excitement is in the card’s benefits. The ID acts as a library card, provides entertainment discounts and includes free membership to museums and other cultural institutions.

Without a doubt:
