Twitchy reported earlier that Sen. Ted Cruz earned the first spontaneous standing ovation of the day at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa with his promise to “cut off every penny” of taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood. There have been many more ovations as the day has progressed, but one noted as particularly enthusiastic came as Gov. Bobby Jindal called out the mainstream media on its pro-liberal, pro-Obama bias.
Biggest cheer of the day comes for Jindal's attack on… the media. "They don't apply the same standards" to Obama as "the rest of us."

Isn’t it risky to target the same media who will be responsible for covering his campaign? Yes and no, considering that the best take the Washington Post could come up with was to report that “There’s not much Indian left in Bobby Jindal.” At least that quote was real, if idiotic. The Atlantic’s Ta-Nehisi Coates and CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill both anxiously retweeted a parody news site reporting that Jindal had for years been trying to “distance himself from his Indian roots.” Great research, guys.
Bobby Jindal draws standing O saying @nytimes @WashPostDC and rest of media don't apply same standards to @POTUS and Republicans.

Loudest ovation so far for Jindal criticizing media for not applying same standards to Obama "as they do for the rest of us." #FLS2015

Just for fun, what is today’s mainstream media take on President Obama, as news breaks that a fifth service member has died as the result of an apparent Islamic terrorist attack?
Obama finally gets his stroll in Central Park like a normal person, sort of https://t.co/UQzBEK9w0L
