Which was the bigger shock, really: Seeing an MSNBC anchor marching in an Independence Day parade next to a Hillary for America campaign banner, or being reminded that Chris Matthews still exists?
MSNBC’s second-quarter ratings, already in the basement in 2014, are down 17 percent from last year at this time, so it’s probably wise for Matthews to leave the house once in a while and be seen by somebody. The purse? A brave fashion choice, we say.
