The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals’ decision yesterday not to lift a stay on President Obama’s executive amnesty brought the issue of illegal immigration back to the forefront of the news, and today a group of protesters converged on a Border Patrol checkpoint near Arivica, Az., about 35 miles south of Tucson, in an attempt to shut it down.

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, which handed a significant blow to President Obama yesterday, was the subject of angry tweets from quite a few U.S. legislators and labor groups. For 10 bonus points, see if you can identify the one word missing from each and every tweet that follows.
Disappointed two 5th Circuit judges have decided to defer dreams of hard-working immigrant families across America. http://t.co/ExIcmGXO6i

I'm disappointed the 5th Circuit denied our stay request to allow @POTUS's lawful immigration actions to immediately move forward.

Disappointed in the fifth circuit's ruling. @potus' immigration action is a family and humanitarian issue, and it will prevail.

I am incredibly disappointed in the Fifth Circuit Court today. Activist judges have decided to block President… http://t.co/6SpRR71CGK

Activist judges have decided to block the president’s executive order on amnesty, which he signed after telling the National Council of La Raza that “the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. I promise you. Not just on immigration reform. But that’s not how our system works. That’s not how our democracy functions. That’s not how our Constitution is written.”

We'll keep fighting for #ImmigrationAction implementation & for a permanent, long-term fix to our nation's broken #immigration system.

What have those nasty Border Patrol agents been up to lately anyway, aside from crushing the fragile dreams of America’s immigrant families?
