Word on Vermont Public Radio is that Sen. Bernie Sanders, who had teased a decision on his presidential intentions by the end of the month, will announce Thursday that he is seeking the White House as a Democrat. The announcement brought some interest to the Democratic primary, which so far has consisted of little more than Hillary Clinton seemingly hoping to dodge all questions until the election.
Bernie Sanders, Vermont socialist, is running for president. Will the media take him seriously–just to have a semblance of a race?

Take him seriously? How could they ignore these numbers?
Say this for Bernie Sanders: he's polling at 3x O'Malley's support http://t.co/M9bxlx5H2s pic.twitter.com/36CotFD403

Sanders-mentum indeed! He’s even closing in on Vice President Joe Biden.

@iowahawkblog @instapundit Does he believe in contributions to his campaign? Maybe just good vibes will do?

With Bernie Sanders in the race, the GOP can legit accuse an opposing presidential candidate of being a Socialist.

@DavidMDrucker What a relief! Maybe for the others, we can coin a term like "Socialistic Tendencies"? Kind of like a personality disorder.
