Trey Gowdy sends Hillary Clinton 136 questions for May appearance before Benghazi committee

Only today we’ve seen stories about then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton accepting Clinton Foundation donations in exchange for Russian control of a Wyoming uranium mine; the Clinton Foundation refiling at least five years’ worth of tax returns; and the Clintons admitting to meeting with mining company investors at their house in Chappaqua only after being confronted with a photo of the meeting.

So excuse us for not expecting much when Hillary Clinton appears before the House Select Committee on Benghazi in May. The Hill reports today that Rep. Trey Gowdy, chair of the committee, wrote Clinton’s attorney, David Kendall, requesting her testimony the week of May 18.

Clinton should expect some questions on the personal email server she employed while serving with the State Department.

…Gowdy, a former federal prosecutor, showed he is not about to give Clinton a pass on her personal email use, including a list of 136 sample questions on the topic in his missive to Kendall.

“Suffice it to say our members have more questions,” he wrote.

Cox Radio reporter Jamie Dupree has a brief list of some sample questions.

By the way, there are still plenty of questions about Hillary’s boss and his whereabouts.

Or under oath, for that matter.

A copy of Gowdy’s letter, including all 136 sample questions, can be found in PDF format here.
