Six-term Democratic Rep. Cynthia McKinney is offering up some strange entertainment suggestions this week. Just a few days ago, the Green Party’s 2008 nominee for president offered up anti-Semitic comic Dieudonné as an alternative for fans of Jon Stewart (who’s Jewish, by the way).
If you enjoyed the comedic stylings of Dieudonné, which have led him to be fined for hate speech and put on trial for defending terrorism, McKinney has another great video that’s perfect for a lazy Sunday off: Barbara Honegger’s lecture “Behind the Smoke Curtain,” telling the story of what really happened at the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.
McKinney left the Democratic Party in 2007 after Georgia voters traded up to “Guam truther” Hank Johnson in a runoff, but she’ll always be former Democrat Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney to us.
