It would be unusual for White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest to hold an entire briefing and manage not to say something offensive. Today the White House managed to diminish the lives of the 21 Coptic Christians beheaded on video by Islamic terrorists by referring to them as merely “Egyptian citizens.” At the very least he managed to avoid calling them “a random bunch of folks.”
