It’s no surprise that Bill Clinton, President Romance himself, was among the first political figures to send out a Valentine’s Day wish. Some staffer even managed to dig up video of Clinton dancing briefly with his own wife, Hillary, which was a nice touch.
First lady Michelle Obama also tweeted a lovely Valentine’s Day wish to the president. It is a touching photo, but it couldn’t have been taken today, as the president jumped on Air Force One yesterday for a fundraising trip to the West Coast and a golf weekend in drought-stricken Palm Springs. They probably celebrated early.

Perhaps the best and most unique Valentine’s Day photo, though, comes to us courtesy of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
Tonette and I are back at the family home. I'm cleaning the bathrooms & she is cleaning the kitchen. How romantic…? pic.twitter.com/QcHsQnvrbL

.@ScottWalker The way America stays together! Marriage is not a 50/50 proposition. Both have to give 100%. #HappyValentinesDay ♥♥♥

If I wasn't in love with Scott Walker already, this pretty much seals the deal.

@ScottWalker I know the feeling. @gracefantle handles the counters and I vacuum the floors. A solid Valentine'a afternoon date. #keepWIclean
