A funny thing happened on the way to the golf course — President Obama found himself at yet another fundraiser, this time in San Francisco. To the delight of attendees and horror of the rest of us, the president reminded donors that he only has two years left in office, but “two years is a long time.”
Obama tells s fundraiser in San Francisco: I only have 2 years left, but 2 years is a long time.

Whether or not Obama knows that he’s done little besides campaign and take vacations for the first six years of his term, CBS News’ Mark Knoller reports that the president has big plans for the home stretch.
In the last quarter of his presidency, POTUS tells Democratic donors he intends "to run through the tape" in pursuit of his agenda.

"Part of my goal is to restore a sense of possibility in politics and government," Pres. Obama told a DNC fundraiser in San Francisco.

Is that anything like hope and change?

Pres Obama says "people have felt so cynical for Government for so long, and gridlock so fierce, at a certain point, folks just opt out."
— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) February 14, 2015
“But enough about me.”
@markknoller And what, Pres Obama are you doing to alleviate that gridlock? Nothing, nada, zilch. Spare me the lectures.
— TheLongVersion⚠️ (@thelongversion) February 14, 2015
.@markknoller And Obama IS THE gridlock he so piously denounces.

@markknoller Is this a confession? Has Obama checked out? Would that be bad?

POTUS at CA DNC event: "we are going to be setting the stage for the next presidential election and the next 10 years of American policy."

Time to work really hard and squeeze out every last little bit of improvement he can, even if it takes all weekend.
Pres Obama spends the night in San Francisco, then heads to Palm Springs for most of the 3 day holiday weekend – where golf courses beckon.
