'The Scientific Method hard at work': Senate to vote on existence of climate change

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has said that he would allow an open amendment process on legislation to approve construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. Given that opening, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) took to the Senate floor Tuesday afternoon to discuss his amendment to the Keystone XL bill, which asks legislators if they agree that climate change is having an impact on the planet.

The American people need to know whether Congress is listening to the overwhelming majority of scientists when it comes to climate change.
