#BlackLivesMatters protesters on Friday claimed to have stopped an MBTA commuter train on its way to the Patriots game for four-and-a-half minutes in honor of Michael Brown.

To be honest, that second picture especially does look like a cute photo op; is there any visual indication that the protesters actually stopped the train with their bodies and “White Silence = Violence” banner? Or did they pose in front of a train that had already stopped for some quick snaps? Is the guy in the orange vest with the MBTA or is he the photographer who took the second photo? And how did he and the person who took his picture know exactly where to stand with the train screeching to an emergency stop?
Update: #MBTA officials say protesters "staged" photo while train made regular stop on way to game. No delays. pic.twitter.com/YxsLOqQdka

Demonstrators said they delayed a train going to the Patriots game, but the #MBTA claims they experienced no delays. http://t.co/faIIGPamj9

The #MBTA train made a scheduled stop in Dedham. Organizers stood on the tracks to delay the train from leaving the station for 4.5 mins.

@BLM_Boston @OpFerguson @MBTA @Patriots Stopping trains is just plain dangerous and causes huge amounts of problems for control. That's dumb
