'Criminally stupid' PSA encourages teens to steal parents' guns, turn them in to teachers

We haven’t missed Second Amendment scold Piers “Musket” Morgan’s one-man campaign against American gun rights, but last weekend’s execution-style killing of two NYPD officers inspired some, like Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America founder Shannon Watts, to blame the NRA for the alleged killer’s ability to obtain a firearm. Gee, how does a 28-year-old with 19 previous arrests manage to get his hands on a gun if not through background check loopholes?

Obviously a new approach is needed to get guns off of the streets, and especially out of the hands of young people. Rejina Sincic (@QueenSincic) has an idea and the public service announcement to back it up: behold as a brave young man steals a possibly loaded firearm from his parents, stuffs it loose into his backpack with no trigger lock and transports it possibly on a crowded bus to the gun-free indoctrination zone formerly known as “school.”

Please watch and share with law enforcement.

As BearingArms.com editor Bob Owens writes:

Director Rejina Sincic has created a disturbing video, advocating that teens commit multiple felonies — several of which could lead to injury or death through negligent discharge of the weapon — because of her own hysterical, irrational fear of firearms.

In the real world, such an act would result in the boy facing numerous felony charges (exact charges depend on state laws) possibly including weapons theft, unlawful possession of a weapon by a minor, illegal concealed carry of a weapon, carrying a weapon onto school property, assault, and brandishing.

One good sign: YouTube’s like-to-dislike ratio (currently running around 200:20,000) indicates most people still have some common sense.

Update:

That’s odd; Erik Soderstrom notes on his website that the original video with 435,000 views and 21,000 dislikes has been made private and re-uploaded with comments disabled.
