More than 70 protesters were arrested Friday as they blocked Interstate 43 in Wisconsin to protest the shooting death of Dontre Hamilton by a police officer last April.
I-43 is shut down both ways by protesters. Ridiculous.

According to the Journal Sentinal, a confrontation ensued between Hamilton and Officer Christopher Manney during a pat down in a public park April 30. Police say Hamilton took control of Manney’s baton and struck him on the side of the neck. Manney then shot Hamilton 14 times. Manney was fired from the police force but is appealing that decision.
Individuals who chose to endanger the public by blocking roadways are being arrested by MPD and @MCSOSheriff
