Whatever political drama went into the Senate’s losing vote on the Keystone XL pipeline this evening likely can’t match what happened afterward. A handful of anti-pipeline protesters in the Senate gallery began to — well, not cheer or applaud, but engage in a Native American chant.
Was it Elizabeth Warren who broke into the Native American chant as the announcement was made that the passage of Keystone had failed?

Tribal spokesman says man who started chanting is Greg Graycloud with the Lakota Tribe in South Dakota. #KeystoneXL

They were still kicked out by security, but many saw great irony in the fact that it was Sen. Elizabeth Warren presiding over the Senate and calling for order.

Someone in the Senate Chamber was doing a Native American chant. Probably in honor of Warren sitting in the chair of authority. #justsaying

@AndrewKirell @jschau11 Warren only understood 1/32 of the chant.

@FreeBeacon Funny! I wonder if that singing speaks to her soul.

Of course Elizabeth Warren didn't join in the Native American chant in the Senate. She was busy painting with all the colors of the wind.
