President Obama held a press conference Tuesday afternoon on the administration’s response to the Ebola crisis. It was a brief affair that ended with a promise that the president would know more Wednesday, when he planned to meet with doctors and public health workers in order to get their input (and maybe a photo or two).

As far as today’s press conference, it was all about quelling fear and trusting science — enough so that author Brad Thor made a drinking game out of it.

Anyone else need a lab coat? It just screams, “Science!”
Though the speech was dominated by mentions of science, the president did praise doctors and other health care workers for “doing God’s work.” But what about the troops who have been committed to the cause?

@BradThor This is his way of "supporting the troops!"

@BradThor @magacaroljean Maybe healthcare workers are immune, or so he thinks, or maybe not. I agree, what's up?
— baileydog1 (@farmerami) October 28, 2014

Health care workers going to Africa should be applauded and supported, Obama says. "They are doing God's work"

@AustinStKloud @BradThor Isn't it odd that health workers are "doing God's work" but the military building hospitals aren't, apparently.
