In an article posted last week on Kveller.com, “Big Bang Theory” actress Mayim Bialik admitted that although she’s a bleeding heart liberal, she doesn’t want her kids learning about sex from billboards.
The billboard in question features former Nickelodeon mainstay and pop singer Ariana Grande. Bialik claims to have no idea what Grande does, but “based on the billboard, she sells lingerie. Or stiletto heels. Or plastic surgery because every woman over 22 wishes she has that body, I’m sure. Why is she in her underwear on this billboard though? And if she has a talent (is she a singer?), then why does she have to sell herself in lingerie?”
Bialik took some heat for what some saw as picking on Grande.

@missmayim Why being silent for years and now bashing Araina Grande? Were you paid for bashing her, because I don't believe you're honest.

Stand down, “AG DEFENSE SQUAD.”
Nothing personal against Ariana Grande or sexy women. Chill out, people. My @Kveller post was social commentary! Have a sense of humor!

@missmayim @Kveller I thoroughly agreed with what you said in your blog. Too much sexualisation, especially of young girls!

@missmayim @kveller I personally liked the post. It made me chuckle when you said she sold lingerie. People need to lighten up over celebs.

@missmayim you shouldn't have to apologize. I agree with what you said.

@missmayim we normal people understand, Mayim. It's the crazy fans who feel the need to take everything personally who are being ridiculous
