IRS Commissioner John Koskinen famously told told the House Ways and Means Committee on Friday that “I don’t think an apology is owed.” At Monday night’s hearing before the House Oversight Committee, there were several apologies — from committee members to Koskinen.
Several Democrats on the committee offered their apologies to Koskinen, with a visibly shaken Rep. Elijah Cummings thanking Koskinen from the depths of his heart for his civil service. “I apologize that you’ve had to go through this hell,” Cummings concluded.
Actor Ken Wahl didn’t miss the fact that the Democrats were the ones doing the apologizing, and followers agreed that that was a problem.
@KenWahl1 It's absurd. The IRS is in all of our pockets regardless of party. I would have thought everyone would be up in arms over this.

@KenWahl1 I think some of the dems on the committee are involved in the irs scandal. Elijah Cumming's for one.

@KenWahl1 How is Koskinen so sure there is no corruption when all the emails are are missing? That in itself is an oxymoron.

@KenWahl1 Shameful behavior. Elected officials should always defend Americans over corrupt bureaucracy. IRS corruption affects us all.

@KenWahl1 Is this why Obama was so confident in saying there was not a smidgen of corruption in the IRS? The stink rises to the top.

@KenWahl1 @Talkmaster Those video clips and sound bites should be in every GOP ad this fall.

@KenWahl1 @DavidLimbaugh as arrogant and unapologetic as Obama…

@Rockprincess818 @DavidLimbaugh Yes… And I'm sure that similarity is precisely why BO chose him…
