As Twitchy reported, the #NBCFail hashtag was poised for a return as the network announced it would tape-delay the opening ceremony “to put context to it, with the full pageantry it deserves.” Americans finally had the opportunity to see the opening ceremony Friday night, but many noticed that NBC wasn’t quite delivering the full pageant. That, in turn, sent #NBCFail back into Twitter’s trending topics.

Because they were too creepy, maybe?
Ceremony was great! But #NBCFail backlash is totally justified. Cut performances, annoying commentators, inane remarks, lack of translations
