Movie producer Harvey Weinstein this week told Howard Stern that he has an upcoming project with actress Meryl Streep that will make the National Rifle Association “wish they weren’t alive.” “I don’t think we need guns in this country. And I hate it,” Weinstein told Stern “I think the NRA is a disaster area.”
Chuck Woolery doesn’t seem to think America is quite ready to be pushed around on gun control by the man behind such gun-crazy films as “Pulp Fiction,” “Kill Bill” and “Django Unchained.”
“@chuckwoolery: Mr. Weinstein, pushing around Hollywood isn't the same as trying to push the American people around. AMEN TO THAT!

@chuckwoolery He forgets that he wants people to spend money to see his movies, taking on NRA's going to cost him bigtime

@chuckwoolery I might give a damn if I knew who he was. If he comes to my house he better be able to run faster than 1500fps. #nuffsaid

@chuckwoolery He can disarm Hollywood all he wants, but in the real world he's pretty impotent.
