Coast Guard closes off Kailua Bay for the Obamas

If you’re lucky enough to be spending Christmas in Hawaii this year but unlucky enough to be staying near the Obamas, watch out. The water might look fine, but you could face a fine of $40,000 and up to 10 years in prison for entering the waters of Kailua Bay.

The Coast Guard has declared the bay a security zone until January 5, when the Obamas pack up and head home. We’re all for keeping the first family safe, but … $40,000?
