Government contractors who were in Benghazi, Libya the night of the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attacks have been testifying before the House Intelligence Committee this week. The sessions are classified and closed to the public and press, but Congressman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) did speak with Fox News this afternoon.
Word from the witnesses is that the attack on Sept. 11 was continuous over the course of seven hours, with no lull, as has been suggested.
Fox News’ Adam Housley took to Twitter this evening to insist that his and colleague Jennifer Griffin’s reporting on Benghazi is not driven by a political agenda but by a pursuit of the truth, and what they’ve found lines up with what these contractors have been saying.

These men our hero's..have no political axe to grind..like us..we just want truth out..so it never happens again & families get answers

The firefight never had a lull, which was the excuse to not send rescuers. Air support was called for and expected. Non disclosures also

Will anyone else demand answers? Will Dems on the committee demand answers? Will Repubs put politics aside and demand answers?
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
The thing to know…the men who testified today about Benghazi…and others who are still yet to speak…are heroes & we protect them
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
We should all protect those who serve our country around the world. Much of their work never known.

Why should it matter? How can you send men & women into harms way in the future knowing that they may be left hanging?
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
So why the video lie? Why the non disclosures? Why not send air support? Why not admit people were avail and in the region and send them?
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
I have no agenda. I have not horse in this race. I just think we should have the backs of those that were there that night & those lost.
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
Nice to know my sources have been proven right. They are heroes too…for risking so much to tell the truth.
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
I challenge you to read my reports and those of my colleague @JenGriffinFNC No politics…just a fact finding mission for truth
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
Not frustrated…just supported by today's testimony from the men who were there. Now the question is…who made these calls?
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
Know…I just want the answers. The truth. I truly could care less about either political party.
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
It's not the political game. Not the blame game. It's now the answer game.
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
Some of you are already placing blame. We don't know yet who is at fault..but we know much more happened than admitted
— Adam Housley (@adamhousley) November 15, 2013
@adamhousley We know who hasn't told the truth and when people start lying it's usually a good indication that someone is hiding something.
— Deb (@auntdeb59) November 15, 2013
@adamhousley We know there are many more questions then answers
