With all of the talk lately about who drew that red line in the sand in Syria, we know who’s responsible for drawing the red line through Washington, D.C. That would be the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, and its red line today is causing its own set headaches in the nation’s capital.

“@aadragna: Recommend everyone in #DC stay away from the #redline if you can.http://t.co/FgbbXegFny” Why is it always the damned red line?

Solid policy advice for everyone in Washington: stay away from red lines.
