CBS News’ Mark Knoller was grumpy about the White House press pool being locked out of the annual Gridiron Dinner last month and wasn’t shy about letting the world know. The same rules go for tonight’s fundraisers in San Francisco: cameras and microphones aren’t allowed, but one “print pooler” is allowed in for transparency’s sake. What’s the chance that bartender/super-spy/national hero Scott Prouty will smuggle in a camcorder to keep things honest?
@markknoller Let's hope someone has a tape recorder in a breast pocket. Only way we find out what he really thinks.

@markknoller Has Mr. Obama said anything directly about the situation in North Korea, or is he still concentrating on fund raising?
— Rex A. Nagle (@RexANagle) April 4, 2013
@markknoller so glad he has time to do so while North Korea threatens Nuclear War. Way to be present, Mr. President

The Washington Post’s David Nakamura managed to get a National Enquirer-style shot from the press pool’s vantage point.
