Venezuela's embassy retweets Michael Moore's, Rep. Jose Serrano's Chavez remembrances

While some people are careful to point out in their Twitter bios that “retweets do not equal endorsements,” it’s probably safe to assume that the Embassy of Venezuela and Michael Moore are on the same page when it comes to their support of the late Hugo Chavez. The embassy has been following Jimmy Carter’s request to remember the “positive legacies” of Chavez by retweeting just about any and all praise it can find, including Michael Moore’s anti-American contributions (which Van Jones also retweeted).

U.S. Rep. Jose Serrano, who managed to offend a good portion of the American public with his speedy lauding of Chavez, also received the retweet treatment from the embassy.

Excuse us if we don’t get on board the Chavez pity train. It’s crowded enough already with Michael Moore, Sean Penn, Van Jones, Oliver Stone, Al Jazeera, ANSWER, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation.
