As Twitchy reported, Columbia University Professor Marc Lamont Hill appeared on CNN yesterday to lend his take on the then-ongoing Christopher Dorner manhunt, which he said was “like watching ‘Django Unchained’ in real life. It’s kind of exciting!” Hill appeared on “The O’Reilly Factor” tonight to clarify his remarks, but did he use his appearance on Fox News to remove his foot from his mouth or insert the other one?
Ur hero worship was perfectly clear. MT @marclamonthill: I'll be on The O'Reilly Factor to discuss my (misunderstood) comments on Dorner.

@michellemalkin I doubt you even saw the clip. But if you did, you know I didn't say he was a hero. Or does the truth no matter at all?

He’s not defending Dorner in any way, you see, but it would be “irresponsible” not to use this crisis as a launching point for an “important public conversation” on police corruption, which, incidentally, might not have had anything to do with Dorner’s actions. But as CNN’s Don Lemon said, Dorner’s rambling manifesto is “something that we need to talk about.”
Stay strong @marclamonthill…your defense of Leftist murderer and gun control advocate Chris Dorner is nothing to be ashamed of. #Forward!

. @marclamonthill nobody "misunderstood" you glorifying Dorner as a superhero, just stop.

We’ll allow that Dr. Hill might be right about one thing. The violence in “Django Unchained” made several moviegoers physically ill, and we’re not feeling so well after watching the ongoing Marc Lamont Hill saga either. It’s kind of sickening.
