Bloomberg is reporting tonight that C. Dean Metropoulos & Co., an Irving, Texas private equity firm that owns Pabst Brewing Co., has expressed an interest in purchasing Hostess, which today announced plans to liquidate, eliminating around 18,000 jobs.
