ICE chief of staff resigns amid accusations of sexually inappropriate behavior

Several news sources are confirming that Suzanne Barr, Immigration and Customs Enforcement chief of staff and aide to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, has resigned her position amid accustations of lewd behavior with male staff members.

In her resignation letter, Barr called the allegations against her “unfounded” but said would step down to end “distractions” within the agency. James T. Hayes Jr., an ICE special agent, had filed suit, describing a “frat house” atmosphere at ICE designed to humiliate male employees. Several others stepped forward with allegations as well.
