Piers Morgan premieres 'Gutless Little Twerp' award in honor of Todd Akin

It’s almost enough to make you nostalgic for the days of Keith Olbermann’s “Worst Person in the World” segment, which was at least entertaining, if not an honor for the recipient. CNN’s Piers Morgan debuted his own “Gutless Little Twerp” award tonight, so named for U.S. Rep. Todd Akin, who stood up Morgan after promising an in-studio appearance Monday night.

Morgan was brave enough to adress his “gutless twerp” remark to an empty chair. So who would be the recipient of Morgan’s award? Drum roll please…

Oh, controversial — the anonymous seller of those nude Prince Harry pics. We give Akin a better chance of surviving his election than this “award” segment making it until Friday.
