The National Interagency Coordination Center today reported that around 70 wildfires are burning across 13 states west of the Mississippi River.
The Taylor Bridge fire in central Washington State is reported to have destroyed at least 60 homes.

The Trinity Ridge fire near Pine, Idaho, is reported to have spread to over 68,000 acres and was reported to be only 3 percent contained as of Wednesday evening.
