Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner knew exactly what to do when a “fan” rushed the field in Monday night’s Rams vs. 49’rs game:
The #Rams best play of the night. Flatten the fan on the field. pic.twitter.com/SWvZrJesCM

Ooof. That’s a whole lot of stupid coming up against a whole lot of highly-trained athlete, and the results are pretty glorious.
Seems the “fan” was not real pleased with the outcome of their ridiculous stunt, and has filed a police report against Wagner. Per ESPN:
Shortly before halftime of the game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, a fan ran across the field with what appeared to be a device letting out pink smoke. Rams linebacker Takkarist McKinley came toward the person then Wagner stepped in and laid him out with a big hit.
Santa Clara Police Department Lt. Cuong Phan confirmed to ESPN on Wednesday that the police report was filed Tuesday afternoon. Because this is an active investigation, information will be limited, Phan said.
It’s probably not the best idea to go running into a protected area with a device that billows smoke in a stadium full of thousands of people.
A lot of folks saying that the protestor.. who illegally hopped on the field with a smoking stick.. is gonna sue Bobby Wagner??
How does anybody know what else that person has?
They have a smoke stick in one hand, who knows what in the other..
Bobby’s a hero.
End of story.

Wagner said it best:
For his part, Wagner said after the game he jumped in to help security for safety reasons.
“You don’t know what that fan got or what they’re doing,” the star linebacker said.
Honorable mention:
Roughing the trespasser 😂😂😂
