There are a handful of articles I've written for Twitchy that I genuinely like.
But I am most proud of the piece I wrote after Kamala Harris picked Tim Walz as her running mate. I said back then -- just 24 hours after the announcement -- that Walz was a terrible choice. Since then, I have been repeatedly proven right.
Tim Walz paints himself, with a helping hand from media, as a common-sense Midwest, aw-shucks kind of guy who understands the average American.
That could not be further from the truth. He's a lying, Communist-loving, radical Leftist. And if he's going to be the voice of the Democratic Party, I am okay with that. Because they'll never win another national election if Walz is the best they can do.
For several weeks now, Walz has been on a town hall tour of supposedly Republican districts to 'listen' to voters.

Instead, he's given the Republican party a treasure trove of 2026 and 2028 campaign ads.
And here's another one.
🚨 TIM WALZ: "I think we need a shadow government so when all these things come up, every single day, we have an alternate press conference telling the truth about what things are happening." pic.twitter.com/jQDic0Espl

Imagine for a moment a frightening alternate reality: Kamala Harris won in 2024 and she's president now.
She's enacted price controls, so grocery store shelves are bare. Democrats cracked down on social media, so you can't post anything to X if it's not in praise of our first female president. You're hoping the few groceries you could afford don't spoil because the green agenda-mandated brownouts have cut off your power again.
Scary, we know.
Now imagine J.D. Vance -- having lost the election -- is going around talking to voters and saying he wants to enact a 'shadow government' to 'tell the truth.'
What do you think would happen to Vance -- or any Republican -- in that hypothetical scenario? Arrest, prosecution, and prison most likely.
Thank goodness we dodged that dystopian bullet.
But I digress.
Tim Walz reveals who he really is and what the Democratic Party actually stands for. It's not democracy, and it's not listening to the people. Because just five months ago, voters spoke and spoke loudly: we elected Donald Trump as president. You don't have to like it.
You do have to live with it.
Yet Walz is out in communities fighting back against the will of the American people. Because democracy only applies when Democrats win. When they lose, they go to the courts to overturn the will of the people or they stage increasingly violent, destructive 'resistance' movements to get their way.
We conservatives put up with two Obama terms and the trainwreck that was the Biden years. We started the TEA Party, sure, but we didn't burn down anything. We didn't harass drivers with Obama-Biden stickers on their cars. And we certainly didn't call for a shadow government.
As to the truth, Tim? Well, let's talk about telling the truth.
Walz didn't tell the truth about his service record. He didn't tell the truth about his time in China or his ties to the communist nation. He didn't tell the truth about George Floyd's death or the BLM riots. He didn't tell the truth about COVID or acknowledge the truth that his lockdowns hurt Minnesota students kept out of school for years.
Walz is also the guy who repeated the lie that J.D. Vance had intimate relations with a sofa, and gleefully so. He swore up and down he was a gun owner who wouldn't violate our Second Amendment rights, another 'truth' debunked by his totally authentic and not-at-all-staged hunting expedition where he looked more like Elmer Fudd than anything else.
And he's not telling the truth about why Democrats lost the election. He claims it's because the party didn't embrace DEI, wokeism, and illegal immigration hard enough.
With everything Walz says, the truth is the polar opposite.
