Suppose there was any remaining doubt that Democrats not only believe in America last but are wholly out of touch with their fellow citizens. In that case, you need look no further than their behavior at last night's Presidential address to Congress.
Rep. Al Green from Texas was expelled from the chamber for his outburst and faces censure in the House. Any time the camera cut to Nancy Pelosi, she looked like she'd taken a big bite of bitter lemon. Democrats wore pink to protest Trump's supposed 'war on women' -- a mere 24 hours after they unanimously voted to let men compete in women's sports -- and held up signs to express their displeasure that the American people have given them the old heave-ho.
One of the big reasons voters were fed up with the Democratic Party is their completely irrational, dangerous, and unfair obsession with illegal immigration. One of Joe Biden's first acts as president was to throw open the borders and let travelers of all sorts -- including hardened criminals, terrorists, and Chinese nationals -- flood the border like college kids heading to Daytona for spring break.
While the people of western North Carolina waited for post-hurricane FEMA aid and were kicked out of hotels in the dead of winter, FEMA was handing out buckets of cash to hotels in places like New York so illegal immigrants could have a warm bed.
It's a total mystery why they lost.

Yet, despite not having any control over Congress or the White House, Democrats seem determined to cling to the policies that got them expelled from the Oval Office in the first place.
There's the aforementioned vote against protecting women's sports, and then there's the Democrats' ongoing obsession with illegal immigration.
Here's Senator Adam Schiff, deciding the poem on the Statue of Liberty is a substitute for the rule of law:
“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”
— Adam Schiff (@SenAdamSchiff) March 5, 2025
You have to look no further than the pedestal of Lady Liberty to see what defines America. That’s who we are.
This speech – and this President – is not who we are.
Is Adam Schiff really arguing that we need to be the people we were in 1880 when that poem was written? Because that creates a lot of problems for a lot of demographics.
If Donald Trump said something like this, it would be a 'coded dog whistle' for 'white supremacy.'
Adam Schiff cites a poem and acts like it's now the law of the land.
On one hand, I get it.
Schiff was tight-lipped when outgoing President Joe Biden tried to wholesale amend the Constitution via a post on X, so maybe grasping the rule of law isn't his strong suit. He thinks he and his fellow Democrats can just will new rules into existence and strong-arm everyone else into abiding by them.
And that may be who the Left is, but it's not who we as a nation are.
Who we are, Senator, is a nation that is fed up with Democrats giving deference to criminals. And -- bluntly -- all illegal immigrants are, by definition, criminals. Americans are tired of being the world's dumping ground for places like Venezuela to empty their prisons and send the absolute dregs of society to leech off the taxpayer, harass our citizens, and even murder them.
America has immigration laws that were passed by duly elected representatives, and you, as a Senator, took an oath to uphold and defend those laws.
If you don't like them, you have two choices.
The first is to propose legislation to undo those laws. Draft a bill and explain to the American people why you think we shouldn't be more selective about who crosses our borders and lives in our neighborhoods. You look mothers like Allyson Riley and Alexis Nungaray in the eye, and you tell them their daughters' lives are just the price we have to pay to honor the French inscription on a statue outside lower Manhattan.
The second is to resign your seat.
And given your obvious lack of Constitutional understanding and love of bad poetry, I recommend the latter.
