The last several days have seen the Left twist themselves into absolute logic pretzels in their rabid attempt to justify the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, in ways I didn't think the Left -- grotesque as they may be -- would even attempt.
Boy, was I wrong.
First, we'll start with the ever-expanding circle of people the Left thinks deserve harassment because of who their family members are (or, in this case, were). Not content with dancing on Thompson's freshly dug grave, the Left have decided his family are also fair game.
Why else would the ghouls post pictures of his house online? I would assume his widow and two high-school aged sons still live there, so the only conclusion a reasonable person can draw is the Left wants them to be targeted, too.
Because the Left didn't like the legal job Thompson held. Because while you may have problems with health insurance, Thompson was not breaking any laws and was not directly responsible for claims denied by UHC or the costs of healthcare in America.

I warned my followers on X that this homicidal ideology and the cheering thereof won't stop with health insurance company CEOs.
Logically, it can't.
The Left's argument is that Thompson deserved it because UHC denies insurance claims and people might have to pay for their medical treatment. How does that not end with more violence?
It is literally the stochastic terrorism the Left accused conservatives of engaging in, and that was when conservatives merely reposted videos of the Left saying what they believed.
Those monsters.
It's much better to have universal health care, where the government can deny your child treatment and then prevent your child from being transferred to another country for treatment, right? That's what happened to Alfie Evans in the U.K. It's what happens in Canada, where the government-run healthcare will gladly help you commit suicide rather than pay for your medical treatment.
But I digress.
The issue here is not health insurance company CEOs, the issue is the Left hates anyone who has more than they do. And this mentality leads only to bad, dark places.
The median price of a home in America is just over $400,000. In California, the media home price is nearing $1 million. Which means a lot of non-CEO normies are going to own houses worth $1 million or more in the not-too-distant future.
Do all those people -- teachers, firefighters, nurses, secretaries -- deserve to be shot in the back because of the value of their home?
Or, what happens when someone realizes the politicians who voted for Obamacare caused insurance prices to skyrocket? Or when Medicare declines a procedure or only reimburses your doctor pennies on the dollar?
Would the Left nod happily if someone -- heaven forbid -- did to them what happened to Brian Thompson?
My guess is no, and rightly so. No one should be murdered because of their legal, legitimate job. Even if you think that job's policies have harmed you in some way.
Why do I mention 'legal and legitimate' as qualifiers?
Well, I am not alone in pointing out the fact Thompson was employed as CEO in a legitimate job (even if the Left doesn't like it) and that's not justification for his murder. Instead of acknowledging that this is truth, the Left have decided to equate Thompson and his work with the terrorists who comprize Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Taliban.
I wish I were joking.
Brian Thompson was not the enemy. UnitedHealthcare is not a terrorist organization.
Brian Thompson was not Osama Bin Laden.
The fact this argument is being made with a straight face shows the sick and twisted mentality of the Left.
They'll not only justify your murder if your job or your home offend their jealous, greedy sensibilities, they'll lump you in with literal terrorists to defend their entrenched argument.
The Left are indescribably dangerous, and should be treated as such.
