No, Trump Did Not Use Arlington As a 'Campaign Prop', You Media Clowns

Yesterday, Donald Trump went to Arlington Cemetery to honor the 13 service members who were killed at Abbey Gate in Afghanistan, thanks to the Biden-Harris botched withdrawal.

It was astoundingly good campaign optics for the Trump campaign and it made Kamala Harris look absolutely terrible. She had nothing on her schedule and made no public comment about it.

Kamala Harris bragged about being the 'last person' in the room when it came to making the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan. But she wants to distance herself from the cluster it became (something the media are mad Trump is tying her to).

And we really don't blame her. Biden had the nerve to say no troops died under his watch, and he had no qualms arresting Steven Nikoui, the Gold Star father of LCpl. Kareem Nikoui, one of the 13 service members killed at Abbey Gate. Around the third anniversary of the fall of Afghanistan, the Taliban was nice enough to parade all the equipment we left behind for them to use to terrorize the women of the country.

So we'd distance ourselves from it, too.

In their arrogance and conceit, Biden-Harris believed they could ignore Afghanistan and their role in the disaster it has become and the media would defend them.

And they were right, at least when it comes to Esquire.

No, Trump didn't use Arlington as a political prop.

Biden and Harris could've shown up. Nothing was stopping them.

They chose not to, however. Biden is in Delaware, taking vacation from his vacation. And Harris is hiding from the media.

The chose not to be there.

This is exactly how the Harris-Walz administration will run the country: American service members and American citizens come second to their political interest groups. Be it illegal immigrants (today, California passed legislation to give illegals $150,000 towards buying a home), Ukraine, or some other politically expedient group du jour.

But -- first and foremost -- we take a back seat to their most preferred special interest group of all: themselves.

The fact Biden and Harris are ignoring Afghanistan is meant to protect them both from any accountability or questions about the roles they played in the humiliating, catastrophic, and embarrassing withdrawal. Not only did 13 service members lose their lives, many Americans were left behind and the women of Afghanistan are now subjected to the horrors of radical Islamic rule.

Donald Trump didn't use Arlington as a political prop.

He did, however, use it to highlight how little Biden and Harris care about the people who laid down their lives for this nation, for their families, and for the American people in general.

And that is why Esquire is so mad.
